The Buckhead Men's Garden Club was established in 1960, and is located on the grounds of the Atlanta History Center in Buckhead. In spite of our name, we welcome men, interested in gardening and community service, from all over the metro Atlanta area. Whether you're specialty is houseplants, annuals, perennials, edibles, or ornamentals, chances are, you'll find other members in our club with similar interests.
Our community's mission is to network with others to build community right where we live. As the future of the economy is uncertain, community is crucial for sustainability and a greater quality of life. Additionally, in the event of a natural disaster, an epidemic, or anything that could disrupt the comfortable world we live in right now, it's helpful to 'plan for a rainy day.' Message Added October 1, 2012: In an effort to limit our membership and make our group smaller, to make it easier to form close friendships, we are currently NOT accepting NEW members who are also a member of the Moms Club or Woodstock Meetup Group. Being in the same area, the two groups are very similar, and thus, it doesn't make sense to duplicate.

I am just trying to gauge interest in forming a small, laid-back homeschool co-op. This would be for elementary age kids, roughly between the ages of 5 and 10. It would be hosted at my home, which is modest, hence the reason for a small group. Younger and/or older siblings can play in the playroom or outside, depending on how many there are. We could meet once or twice a week. The co-op would cover things like art, music, pe, maybe spanish and science. We also plan on trying out raise bed garden …
